Ionic Magnesium delivers magnesium in a form that passes more directly to where it can be absorbed by the intestine. The magnesium does not need to be broken down in the stomach so is more readily available. This Ionic Magnesium supplement provides a low dose of magnesium so it is suitable for gradual addition of the mineral in the diet.

Magnesium is an essential nutrient with many functions in the human body:

High doses of magnesium can have a laxative effect. It is recommended to keep below 400mg per day unless prescribed by a practitioner.
