Comboccillus is a balanced combination of 7 important probiotics that occupy the gastrointestinal tract. Probiotics are good bacteria.

The GI tract is approximately 30 feet long in an adult and approximately 100 trillion viable (living) bacteria reside in it, weighing approximately 2lb in body weight. About 85% of these should be “good” bacteria. Combocillus contains a blend of the following cultures:

  • L. Acidophilus
  • L Bulgaricus
  • Bifidobacterium Breve
  • L Rhamnosus
  • L Casei
  • Bifidobacterium bifidum
  • L Plantarium

    All these probiotic bacteria are present as part of the normal healthy flora of the gastrointestinal system, many also occupying the vagina. These lactic acid forming bacteria create an anaerobic environment making it difficult for “bad” bacteria to multiply and live.

    All these probiotics are commonly taken after a course of antibiotics to replenish the normal flora of the gut and vagina. L Acidophilus has known antibacterial activity against salmonella, E Coli and Candida. It can even produce natural antibiotics such as lactocidin and acidophilin.
