Full product descriptionN Acetyl Glucosamine is a simple sugar derivative of glucose, naturally occurring in the outer shells of some insects and shellfish. It is also found in large concentrations in the liver, small intestine, thyroid, endocrine and sebaceous glands. It is also known as GlaNAc and is an important neurotransmitter in the body that is used specifically in pain pathways.
Lack of NAG can lead to deficiency of the body’s glycoproteins which has been linked to Chrones disease and ADHD. Glucosamine is one of the building blocks of cartilage in joints.
This product is completely vegan-friendly and is a non-shellfish glucosamine product derived from glucose (from corn) - using an innovative fermentation manufacturing process.
