Bifidobacterium Infantis Powder

Babies are born with a sterile gastrointestinal tract. B Infantis is one of the primary “good, healthy” bacteria that colonise the gut of the new born. Newborn babies are fast to develop their own bacterial population of the gut by bacteria acquired during birth itself and from breast milk. B Infantis appears in higher numbers in the stools of breast fed babies.
B Infantis produces Vitamin B1, Folic acid and Nicotinic acid, all-important for health of the newborn.

This product is best kept refrigerated to sustain the active bacteria.
