Metabolics Label Updates

From time to time we may have to update our product labels to either reflect changes in legislation, our ingredients list or allergen information. All label updates from June 2019 will be reflected in the below table for your reference.

Mastic Gum	26.05.2023	This product no longer contains any gluten containing ingredients. It is not tested for gluten so cannot be described as "gluten-free" but is not made on a line with any gluten containing ingredients. All other elements of the label remain unchanged.
OsteoAid	04.05.2023	Due to an EU legislation change, we are now required to state the EGCG content within the Green Tea in this product. OsteoAid contains 83 mg of Green Tea, which is 37 mg as EGCG. Do not consume a daily amount of 800 mg of EGCG or more.
Diabetes Support	04.05.2023	Due to an EU legislation change, we are now required to state the EGCG content within the Green Tea in this product. Diabetes Support contains 40 mg of Green Tea, which is 18 mg as EGCG. Do not consume a daily amount of 800 mg of EGCG or more.
Fungalite Phase 1	08.04.2021	We have replaced the Calcium undecylenate with Oregano Extract, which is a plant-based ingredient with strong anti-fungal properties.
Carnitine	11.02.2021	We have increased the fill weight of our Carnitine Capsules from 330 mg to 358 mg.
Magnesium Ascorbate	05.01.2021	The levels of magnesium and vitamin C in this product have changed slightly due to a change in raw material supply. This product used to contain 467 mg (584% NRV) vitamin C and 61 mg (16% NRV) magnesium; it now contains 485 mg (606% NRV) vitamin C and 36 mg (10% NRV) magnesium.
Biosilica	15.12.2020	We have reformulated this product to improve the encapsulation process by adding cellulose. The active ingredients remain the same but the capsule size is slightly larger.
Magnesium Citrate	24.09.2020	Each capsule now contains 85 mg (Elemental) Magnesium (they previously contained 73 mg). They now contain more elemental Magnesium (23% NRV).
Vitamin D3 and K2 2500IU	17.08.2020	The volume of vitamin K2 per capsule has been increased from 60 mcg to 200 mcg, changing the NRV from 80% to 267%. This has also slightly increased the capsule size. This product also now includes maltodextrin.
Vitamin C Buffered	17.08.2020	Slight revisions have been made to the amount of Magnesium and Vitamins C delivered in a capsule, with the amount of vitamin C per capsule increasing from 349mg to 358mg and the amount of magnesium reducing from 73mg to 62mg. This is a change from the temporary use of sodium ascorbate.
Bromelain	17.08.2020	The capsule size has changed to a slightly larger size and the amount of Bromelain in a capsule has increased from 150mg to 180mg. It now also includes a small amount of maltodextrin.
Vitamin D3 and K2 1000IU	22.07.2020	The volume of vitamin K2 per capsule has been increased from 50 mcg to 100 mcg, changing the NRV from 67% to 133%. This product also now includes maltodextrin.
Vitamin D3 and K2 Oil	14.05.2020	Sunflower oil replaced with Avocado Oil. Avocado Oil is the natural oil pressed from the pulp of an avocado. It is rich in Oleic acid (Omega 9), a monounsaturated fatty acid (similar to Olive Oil). Whilst it has a ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3 of approximately 13:1, the Omega 6 content is relatively low. Sunflower Oil has a much higher Omega 6 content and, whilst the body needs Omega 6, it is pro-inflammatory.
Propolis	11.05.2020	A more concentrated extract is now being used than what was used in the previous formulation, this means there is less extract delivered in one capsule than previously. As it is now a 5:1 extract it equates to approx 1.3 g Bee propolis. The previous product was a 3:1 extract, which equates to about 1 g bee. The new raw material is formulated using Di Calcium Phosphate, Silicon Dioxide and Natural caramel.
Artemisia Annua	14.04.2020	A slightly stronger extract is now being used due to a different raw material supplier being sourced. The extract is now 1:5 instead of 1:3.
Vitamin D3 Oil	18.03.2020	Sunflower oil replaced with Avocado Oil. Avocado Oil is the natural oil pressed from the pulp of an avocado. It is rich in Oleic acid (Omega 9), a monounsaturated fatty acid (similar to Olive Oil). Whilst it has a ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3 of approximately 13:1, the Omega 6 content is relatively low. Omega 3-6-9  Capsules	16.01.2020	Omega 3-6-9 now contains an increased amount of EPA 72 mg and DHA  48 mg   (Previously it contained EPA 60 mg and DHA 35 mg).
Fungalite Phase 1	18.12.2019	The Cloves have been removed from this product as the Eugenol oil, in combination with the other ingredients, causes some issues involving the capsule to split.  By removing this we then were able to increase the strength of the other ingredients based on their anti-fungal/anti-microbial properties.
Tyrosine Capsules	04.12.2019	Made with a new raw material that is suitable for vegans.
Bladderwrack Capsules	20.11.2019	Made with a new raw material in a more concentrated form, delivering a higher amount of iodine, which contains a small amount (<5%) maltodextrin from corn. Cellulose is now used to keep the more concentrated form of iodine at 800 micrograms per capsule.

KHK Formula	30.09.2019	Resveratrol increased from 10% to Resveratrol 25% as a higher quality raw material.
Ionic Potassium	27.08.2019	Potassium concentration increased to make it possible to calculate increase in NRV.
Green support formula	10.06.2019	“Contains naturally occurring Sulphites” statement added in line with food agency advice.
Organic Spirulina	10.06.2019	“Contains naturally occurring Sulphites” statement added in line with food agency advice.
Organic Chlorella	10.06.2019	“Contains naturally occurring Sulphites” statement added in line with food agency advice.
