DESCRIPTION 
Hesperidin is a natural substance, a flavone glycoside found in unripe citrus fruits, mostly oranges. 5-10 % of the weight of tangerines after 5-7 days of drying is hesperidin. It is believed to be produced by the plants as a defence mechanism.
Hesperidin specifically has been reported to suppress histamine release in some types of allergic reaction (via its metabolite, hesperitin), and is also thought to be useful in controlling inflammation.
The Hesperidin we source is extracted from Citrus Aurantium (bitter orange).
This product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
