Julian Jackson Speaker Bio - Metabolics Annual Conference 2015

Julian Jackson is a Senior Adviser to Fight for Sight in the areas of fundraising and marketing. He acts as an advocate for the charity and as well as speaking to eye health professionals, patients and a wide range of community groups across the UK himself, he co-ordinates a team of leading researchers who are available to speak on behalf of the charity.

In addition Julian Jackson, Senior advisor for Fight for Sight will talk about his own journey into blindness, Fight for Sights activities, the impact that eye research has made to date and the importance of continuing to fund research projects in light of the statistics that every 5 seconds someone in the world goes blind and every 24 hours 100 people in the UK begin to lose their sight.
