Bee Propolis is “Bee Glue”. It is a sticky, brown substance that bees use to fill cracks and line their hives. Bees collect tree resin from cracks in bark and the buds of trees, which they then chew and add beeswax to.

Analysis shows that on average propolis contains:


  • 55% resin and balsam
  • 30% beeswax and oils
  • 5% pollen
  • 5% amino acids + caffeic acid phenethyl ester
