Royal Mail Strike ActionFollowing much speculation, the Communication Workers Union has announced that Royal Mail have voted in favour of strike action.

Strike action was confirmed yesterday 16th October with a 24-hour strike taking place on Monday 4th November. The union will be in talks with Royal Mail over the next two weeks to try to prevent the strike, but is also considering further strike action.

Any customers placing an order online or over the phone on Saturday 2nd , Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th will experience a slight delay in receiving their orders through the post.

This strike does not affect customers outside the United Kingdom using couriers such as FedEx or TNT.

We would encourage customers to place any orders with us by Thursday 31st of October to avoid any delay in service. If however you receive a Saturday postal delivery then orders placed on Friday 1st of November may get to you in time before the strike commences.

Metabolics apologise for any inconvenience or delays caused by the Royal Mail strike but unfortunately we are powerless to stop the strike.

Metabolics will continue to monitor any further announcements from the unions and Royal Mail about further strike action and update this post accordingly.
