With the RDA of folic acid, plus a safe form of vitamin A, this multiple vitamin and mineral supplement is designed for women who are pregnant and breastfeeding.

It is accepted that women who are pregnant, and women thinking of becoming pregnant, should maintain increased levels of folic acid intake. Women who are at higher risk of neural tube defect-affected pregnancy are especially advised to increase folic acid intake.
